By far the most commonly used word in the kitchen. I was put in kitchen for 3 days this week. First day doing Salads and Nachos and the next two days doing Flatop. In English means doing burgers.
The experience in the kitchen is beyond explanation, the kitchen staff at night is all guys because Chilli's dont allow girls to work after 10pm. So these guys all welcomed me like I've been working there.
First day in the kitchen I was quiet but after that, all hell broke loose.
Yesterday Amir, one of the 5 outlet's managers ajaked me to come lepak with them after work, which was 1am. I was like okay. Mamaked till about 4am and got home.
Amir told me that the Chilli's staff play futsal once in awhile and I've been invited for the next outing. YAY!
Gonna watch a movie with the colleagues tomorrow, PRINCE OF FLOWERING PERSIA!
Today was a really busy mainly because it was Wesak Day.
I was in Lounge and I had this one table. 3 girls. First thing one of them asked me when they sat down was
I explained that we dont do that anymore and use an online system. So while serving them I noticed one of them looking at me. If a customer looks at you, it usually means they want something so I went up and asked her if there was anything.
She politely said no and started to giggle. Some reason I felt like a mixture of an idiot and embarrassment.
Later one of them wanted to ask me a "personal" question, my age. I told her and she nodded.
So they paid and left. 20 minutes later Layla, one of the other managers, comes and tell me that those girls called up and complimented on my service and attentiveness. Layla was shocked and so was I.
Abit regretful I Feel... One of them was really cute, the one who asked my age.
ONLY AFTER THEY LEFT I THOUGHT OF A PICK UP LINE!! FML!!
Err... sure
How old are you?
19? Can I ask you a personal question?
I guess?
Can I have your phone number?
What the flower la
These are my thoughts and views. If it really offends you, either you are a pushover or just a freaking baby, grow up
