Langga Freaking Wheee Day 2

Yes the much awaited part two of our 3 part Langkawi vacation.


So after a good drinking session, we went for a walk at 3am in the morning.. Mani, Frans, Remon and myself. So we're standing at the beach and Mani walks up to the water for some reason. We stand behind him... It's dark but the moon gives out enough light to see the beach clear, I see something running towards us, running along the beach line... it runs past Mani and we could make out a figure of a dog, a black dog.

We were like "WHAT THE FUCK?!!" It was pretty weird coz the dog didnt stop running and from what I know usually when a dog encounters a human it actually like stops or "layans" the human but in this case this "dog" was determined and continued to run.


What's even more creepy? My uncle says there ain't no dogs in Langkawi. Freaky much?



So after some much needed sleep we all headed to this malay stall for some good nasi lemak. It was literally a walk down the road from the hotel but it was like a 15 minutes walk... longest 15 minutes la, was seriously damn hungry. Remon proud with his orange converse

So unfortunately when we get there, there were no more nasi lemaks. I ended up having some really oily and not appetizing koay tiow, I ended up not finishing it.



So the girls went shopping and the guys did what we do best when the girls go shopping... CC!! Yes we went CC at Langkawi. Quite pathetic but we had a REALLY good time

So we were back before the girls and we did what we did best, rape each other.

So after the beaches and banana we went to a beach side place for some tom yam. Then this chap comes along and plays some tunes... And HE'S GOOD!!




So after another CC session we take Frans to the beach for a late birthday present... getting buried in the sand.

Now THIS is where the fun starts

Day 3 should be up by end of this week or earlier... hopefully earlier... I malas wanna write about this already

It Came From Langkawi Part 1

First up I'd like to congratulate myself for this is my 200th post for Thoughts Of The Illogic. Where did the time and posts go?


Anywhoots, It's finally here, part one of a four part (I think)

I was full of excitement, this is gonna sound so gay, but I was excited because this was gonna be my first time on a plane. My first time flying. Arika said I looked like some Backstreet Boy, or was that me who said it.... should have updated earlier

Don't think I'd forget this plane, as this plane was the first plane which I've flown in. The feeling when we took off. I was like a little girl... literally. Airbus A320

So after the 45 minute flight from the LCCT to Langkawi airport, we took at cab to our motel.

Most of us felt abit tired and the rest such as Remon and myself wanted to show our colors and a fine job we did, summore 2 for 30 bucks... I call it a bargain!

So as usual, the guys are done changing and what not and standing outside for a good 20 minutes while the girls powder their noses. We were wondering whether we should go for the Sunset cruise, because it had just rained, it wouldnt have been safe

But lucky us the skies cleared up and off we headed for the Sunset Cruise. Imagine, RM50 got us buffet style food, free flow alcohol and treatment rightful for a king. I kept telling myself it saying this trip was a day trip and Sunset Cruise was the only thing we were doing, it would be soo damn worth it.



The yacht was really chilling and the music too. The highlight of this picture? Remon's face. He seemed to have that face everytime he had a glass with him




This would have been the highlights of the cruise. Shark feeding as the crew member called it. They layout this net behind the boat and cruise at a low speed and we get on the nets and hang on. Seriously the feeling was awesome, and to top it off

Never did beer taste soo good. It was the beer of relaxation, everything tasted better.

By the looks of our faces you can see how much we enjoyed the damn cruise. Mani and Frans tak boleh belah, acting poyo looking here and there.

Mani just didn't like this picture. To me it was like some body sculpting ad, from left, before, in thee middle, during and on the right, after.


Mani says give him 6 months and he'll have packs too... I plan to make mine more obvious by then.

This has to be one of the most awesome-est pictures of the trip. He has this model/porn star look

All you can eat buffet and the food was *MOUTH WATERING!!*

It can't be called a Sunset Cruise with out a sunset right? Well on that day there wasn't much of a sunset either but the lighting and the scenery was to die for. Thank dog for my awesome photography skill that kills and makes you spill near the window sill that I just drilled... lame I know

What Usually Hurts Is Good For You

I started training today like everyone else. Alexis Bangsar is the place.


First day nothing much, quite boring because I haven't got my own ID for the POS (or whatever you call it) so I have to "observe" everyone else.

The people? There's Kabir the bartender, he may look like in his late twenties but acts childish, he keeps me entertained during the boring periods.

Eliz, the supervisor, she's cool, she showed me around and told me what to do and how to do it.

Lin, she's got to be about around my age I guess, she helped me out when Eliz wasnt around.

AJ, he's somewhat moody and I keep my distance.

Yusuf, he's cool someone you'd talk to once in awhile I guess, I have no common interest with him so its hard to talk.


I was told that I was only going to be doing F&B and not kitchen. So there could be a possibility of a transfer to somewhere else I guess. In other words I wont be making RM1500 in total.


It was just my first day and I'm been having this quite bad back pain. I think it's because of the shoes I'm wearing? That's what my mum says.

When I Get Out Of Bed

This is going to be a long post. Bear with it.



Yes with exam over and all we wanted to party and we wanted to party HARD! Yes, yes we did but at the end of the night it was abit of a downer... sitting down at the balcony in awkward silence with Remon.

I enjoy a little group therapy session I had on that day. Not just with those two but with another person earlier that day. I realized that person is nice to talk to, when he's alone that is. He's somehow the quiet and reserved type.


Shisha with Mark, Vanessa, Faz and Ashley. Okay, I didnt want my Bangsar friends to meet my college friends after one such incident but I trust Mark not to do anything stupid. He and I have almost the same principles.

It was fun just chilling, talking and shishaing.

When to Ampang yesterday with Remon, Aiman, Mani, Anna, Hans, Gillian, Arika and Jasmine. It was really fun and I bloody saw a FREAKING MUSTANG!!! OH SHIT WEI! I took some pictures of it and will upload all the pictures, all 250++ pictures of that day.

Bowling then to the Petronas Twin Towers Sky Bridge then Petrosains and acted immature with the rest, Burger King, Look Out Point.


Best part of the day? Mani forgot where he parked the car in KLCC. spent about half an hour looking for the car.


I talked about it to some people and I felt better but somehow had a weird feeling in my stomach, didn't know getting over someone is quite this hard.


One thing for sure, the Ceaser's Jerk It Out somehow made me feel better. It just does. That and Rob Thomas' Little Wonders. Wonders of music yet again to the rescue.

Trip To Heaven

Well I'm back and I sure as hell not happy to be back.

Wayne once said "If Langkawi Was Anything Like Heaven, Then I'll Be A Saint"


After the trip I soo freaking agree!


Wednesday

Went to Hentian Duta with Hariish to meet up with Laveen and Kavi at about 10.45pm. Somehow it just felt soo unreal to me, going to Langkawi. I somehow couldn't accept the fact. The bus came at about 11.45pm and left at about midnight.

Everyone else went to sleep but I dosed in and out of sleep. I somewhat enjoyed looking up at hte sky, it reminded me of National Service at Kuala Kubu Bharu. The skies were clear, not much on the light pollution so you could see millions of starts. Beautiful.


Thursday

We reached Kuala Perlis at about 6am and the ferry services only starts at 7am. Got lost abit looking for the jetty but we found it. So we were on the island at about 10am. Got our rental, an Avanza and off we went to pick up Sanjay, Isabell's boyfriend.

Laveen and I couldnt resist, at the airport we saw Heinekien Beer for 3.30 we were like "holy shit!"

We went tot the hotel, Langkasuka Hotel. Its a 4 star hotel with a private beach. Yes a private beach. Left the hotel room and went for lunch at some Nasi Khandar shop near Pantai Chenang. Got back and went to sleep. I woke up at about 4pm and went to the beach just to bum.

I remember once writting in my blog that I really needed a beach. I felt like I was in heaven when I was just sitting there. Obviously we went liquor shopping and damn, whiskey for Rm30 bucks? DAYUM!! So Sanjay took us out to Artisan's Pizzaria. It was like at the side of the road like a mamak stall along the Pantai Chenang stretch. Local pizza but damn it was really really good. I mean even better than Domino's and Pizza Hut. They were very generous on the toppings

Friday

Woke up and again I went to the beach just to sit down on the beach chairs and stone. Sanjay took us for lunch at this place called The British Raj. Good food and good company. So afterwards abit of shop shopping and off we went for a drive. We stumbled upon Kok Beach.... Yes KOK BEACH!

So it was drizzling and Hariish and I got out of the car just to walk on the beach. Laveen and Kavi who were in the car drove off. Hariish and I were like what the fuck but didnt really give a shit just walked around the beach shirtless. After awhile Laveen came back for us.

For dinner we went to town for Thai food. I wasn't feeling myself for some reason but yeah I just wasn't feeling right. I got over it and we went back to teh hotel. We were sitting by the pool which was quite close to the beach. All sitting around the table and having a beer. Laveen suddenly kept quite and told us lets go up to our room. I somehow knew something was wrong. More over Hariish who wasn't feeling well after the ditch ordeal started to shiver like mad. Something was up but for Kavi's sake nothing was said. She gets freaked out quite easily.


Saturday

I asked Laveen what he was the night before, he saw a lady in white, long hair just staring at us. She was holding the grill and was near the beach. We woke up late that day so we ended up having a late KFC lunch but Hariish on the other hand wasn't feeling so well so he was left at the hotel. Came back passed Hariish his food got ready and went to Pantai Chenang beach. Went for some chinese dinner again it was thanks to Sanjay. So we had to get Hariish to the hospital. Apparently he was dehydrated so the medics put him on drips.


Sunday

Early in the morning, Laveen, Kavi And I were just stoning and were emotional. The thought of going back to KL was just unreal. As I was saying "We're going back to reality". We got back and well I was just too darn upset. We agreed to do this again next year.



I played basketball on Sunday, jumped for a block. My jump is about 7 feet up and imagine falling head first. I smacked my head surprisingly I did not pass out rather I was in pain for like a minute and I went back to playing ball. Did a monster block on Adam.

Ever realised how songs can manipulate your emotions? For example, Pendulum's Coma will just make you feel really upset. Uncle Kracker's Follow Me just gives you a fuzzy warm feeling inside. Pendulum's Tempest will destroy your hopes then brings it back...




Yeah, I think too much when I listen to music. I've become a real Pendulum junkie. SPIRAL!!! ROB SWIRE'S VOICE IN IT, IS SOO CALM AND WANTS TO MAKE YOU CRY!


Maybe that's just me.



So today we had an extended break due to the cancellation of out Geo class. So Wayne, Anna, Vien and myself went to Pyramid to watch a movie. G.I. Joe, it was a bloody waste of time. It was soo cartoon la the CGI. Fight scenes weren't bad la. Wish could watch District 9!

MONDAY - 16/03/09

This was the lepak session with Jun-Elle and Karven. Unfortunately Alveena couldn't join us because of college. We went to Lepaq and good news people! LEPAQ IS NOT CLOSING DOWN!!


Anyhu, I obviously I called Raja. It's the unwritten law; If either one of us goes to Lepaq we must call the other half. Abby and Ka Jeng also came.



Lepaq is fun if everyone shishas. Ka Jeng thinks shisha smoke will stain your clothes and make you smell like cigarettes. Even if that was true, you'll smell fruity but whatever. I really had fun with Elle and my "girlfriend" Karven. (Inside joke, only Karven and I know about it).



I mean Raja, Karven and Elle were having fun but I felt like Ka Jeng and Abby were abit sesat. So after dropping Elle and Karven home I headed back to Lepaq. Mahdi came and well Ka Jeng and Abby wanted to go to KL JUST to get a drink in a bar. =.=

Booze is all that is in their lives. =.= And I thought I was Indian

Yes, what fun. Drive to the other side of the world JUST for the view and drinks. Plus by following them I'd be ditching Raja. I told them to have fun.


That was pretty much Monday. I really enjoyed it and am looking forward to do it again with Elle, Karven and Raja *pictures will come up soon*




TUEDAY - 17/03/09


Joined Deepak and gang for some futsal. I was pretty much on fire. Five freaking goals in total and some superb assists. What a narcisisst bastard I am. Khalilul called me and told me that there is a lepak session at that new place in Bangsar, Banana Jones. The place is not bad. The shisha is good the food is good and priced quite well.




Me, Khalilul, Ravi, Raja and Dipti. The Kumars, it was fun to meet the other two Kumars. Had some laughs.



Khalilul wanted to be the temporary blogger but I said no. Sorry mate, I don't want this blog to be political as it already is =D




WEDNESDAY - 18/03/09


Finally it hit me that I haven't got ready for National Service. Spent the whole freaking day buying stuff at Mid Valley and Town.


Had to start a bank account at Bank Pertanian Malaysia for PLKN. Mike knew the place so he followed me there. I have to ATM cards now. WHEE. But both also not alot of cash. Donate please =D


From there Mike wanted to go to some shopping mall deeper in town. I followed only just for the hell of it. We got lost for awhile then found our way.



I GOT DOG TAGS!! WITH MY NAME, BLOOD, TYPE, SEX AND BIRTH DATE!!




Got it done quite cheap too. But I want to get the other ones. Wait la, when I get money.



Went back to Bangsar. At 6.30 pm got a phone call that there is basketball at the park till late. Obviously joined because I wont get Bangsar Basketball for three months. Stopped around 10ish. Went to McDonald's had dinner with the other ballers and left for home.




At the moment I haven't finished packing my bags. Ergh

While waiting to get in. We went there early and went in quite late. It was worth it.

What was really cool about the whole thing was, when you enter you are given a pair of bluetooth headphones. On it there were two different channels on which you can choose from. On the stage there are two DJ's doing their shit, one for each channel. It was really cool and I guess that's what "silent disco" is

At our last venture to Lepaq we ended up singing. It was really fun... I sang a really crappy version of Radiohead's Creep but I enjoyed it... need to practice on my vocals





I just realised that the lead of Bunkface looks abit like Raja... go figure

Lepaq!

Aite, haven't been updating lately. Because most of the time I come online, it's just to play DotA. So alot has happened in the god-knows-how-many-days I haven't blogged.



I finally went to that place that everybody has been talking about, Lepaq. I love the place. It's a small place and it has that certain ambiance. Some really good vibes from that place. You can bring your jam gang and just jam there. There is a stage for you to show your stuff. And the shisha.... best I've ever had. The people there are really friendly.



Owh the girl who changes the coal is really hot and drives a Porche CaymanS. WHATAFAK!!




I've finally got my specs... yes I'm wearing specs. It's for reading, computer, TV and driving.




I've yet to find a new job. Hire me please. I tried for Alexis at Telawi and that place looks cool. I've been playing around with the photoshop and made some cool pictures. I actually went for a walk today just to take pictures... Yes I need a job.

Thom Yorke's Solo Album

First of, I'd like to ask you guys; Do you know who Thom Yorke is?



Majority of you would say NO. I don't blame you. Thom Yorke is the lead singer of the band called Radiohead. My all time favourite band. I was a Rock Corner when I came across Thom's solo album. I didn't even know he made one. What the hell, I bought it.





The album. It's not in a hard cover or anything. More like manila card and stuff. His songs are not bad. Two songs that really caught my attention is "Black Swan" and "Analyze"




His words somehow have meaning that is easy to relate to. I don't think they sell it anymore. I think I bought the last copy. If you want I could lend it to you or something.




I played basketball after quite awhile. I couldn't play at Sitiawan. No offense but the Chinese guys there were really racist. They didn't even let a Malay state player play. I gave up on that bunch. Like I was saying today was the first time in weeks since I've played. And I think I twisted my ankle. I don't know



I'm tired, will blog more tomorrow.
